Programming in the schools for 2009-10 ended with the Kids Poetry Event, a celebratory night where fifty students who participated in Poetry Paths read their original works on stage, joined by a rousing performance by the McCaskey Jazz Band and enjoyed by over 200 enthusiastic family and friends. See an article published about the event in the local newspaper. A colorful journal has been created and printed including the poetry and artwork from this event.
